GROOVY!!!!!! So I want to get some more portraits into my work seeing as I have done a few lately for commissions. This is a little work in progress of just that, which I have been working on in my spare time. I am really a movie nut so I want to do more film oriented portraits from some of my favorite movies. We will see what comes of these. I am not sure if I will do caricatures for the other images but I couldn't help myself on this one. Plus I have never really done a caricature. More to come on this....hopefully soon
Awesome! I like the exaggerated quality of the portrait, I think it's working rather nice. Makes me intrigued as to which others you would do that with. Nice drawing, man!
ReplyDeleteI think his chin is too small.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about that Scott. I don't think Bruce Campbell is known for his chin. I was actually trying to play it down and really focus on his ears.....I think I failed.
ReplyDeleteI was more focused on the eyes, nose and chin of the portrait, the ear doesn't seem to stand out as much for me for some reason. Nevertheless another great painting from you :)
ReplyDeleteHaha no worries Chun. I was actually just joking with Scott. The ear was not my focus at all. The eyes nose and chin were the focus indeed.
ReplyDeleteThanks you all.
Looks great man, I like it mucho!
ReplyDeleteHah! That is only my fav movie of all times. Good job on Bruce! But where's the chainsawwww...
ReplyDeleteI have his signature on some zombies I drew ! (he had to ask his agent if it was OK)
ReplyDeleteREALLY GOOD! think I can touch it
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff, been a big fan of bruces since I was young and I'd say you've done a good job capturing his mighty chin here
